A special fundraising event in support of Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Lives vs Cancer
Claire Rason is a friend, affiliate and longtime supporter of PSMG. Over the past year, her son Nicolas has spent 120 days in hospital and has undergone five rounds of chemotherapy. During that time, Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Lives vs Cancer supported him and Claire’s family in ways that went far beyond treatment. Their care, practical help and compassion made an incredibly difficult journey a little easier.
To give something back, Claire is launching a series of fundraising events inspired by the support her family received during Nicolas' cancer treatment .
The series will consist of five standalone events, each bringing together 120 people, in recognition of the 120 days Nicolas spent in hospital. Drawing on the ideas in her new book, A Better Way to Choose, each event will explore choice, decision-making and personal growth through a lens that is relevant to its audience.
Claire is delighted to be kicking off the series with the PSMG community.
We all face choices that matter, whether in our careers, relationships, leadership, or life. Yet the hardest decisions are rarely just about what to do. They are often negotiations about who we are and who we want to become. This session will introduce practical ideas and tools to help you pause, notice what's influencing you, and make choices with greater awareness and intention.
During the event, you'll:
- Explore practical insights from A Better Way to Choose
- Reflect on the hidden influences shaping your decisions
- Learn simple tools for making more intentional choices
- Contribute to two charities making a life-changing difference for young people with cancer and their families
Ticket price £50
Includes a copy of A Better Way to Choose on publication in January 2027
All profits will be shared equally between Teenage Cancer Trust and Young Lives vs Cancer
I hope you'll join us for what promises to be a thoughtful, practical, and meaningful conversation and help support young people and families facing some of life's toughest challenges.
