By developing an understanding in this area, you will be able to utilise your tactical skill set with a more significant strategic awareness that your line manager and senior stakeholders across the business will no doubt notice, and you will be considered for advancement and greater responsibility in the future, as they will want to depend on you.

Perhaps this has come up in a recent performance review or is a crucial requirement listed for a senior-level job description you have seen recently. The importance of becoming more skilled at strategic thinking is something that your firm and line manager will be demanding of you to move up into senior positions. When your manager is asking you to be "more strategic", they want you to build on the great tactical work you are doing already and further demonstrate how what you are doing contributes to the bigger picture (aligned to your firm's objectives) and how you are specifically adding real value to the firm.

In this session Dominic will cover:

  • Bigger picture thinking
  • Client centric
  • Validated learning and ROI
