Now based in Singapore, her 24 years of regional practice experience includes being resident in Malaysia, Japan and Indonesia where she specialised in major infrastructure project financing and M&A deals in aviation, banking, insurance, mining, oil and gas, plantations, and property.  She is also well versed in cross-border securitisation deals, structured financial products, and Islamic finance, where she has represented the interests of investors from Asia, the US, UK, and Europe in key onshore and offshore multi-currency transactions.

Hanim spearheaded the Total Wellness Initiative (TWI) for ZICO Law in 2017. The TWI is intended to evaluate and address the mental health status and holistic wellness of ZICO lawyers and staff. In the bigger picture, the TWI aims to bring awareness to wellness in the legal world as an industry that is traditionally stress heavy with a high toll on personal lives. Since conception, the TWI has been a rallying point for ZICO lawyers and staff to come together and share as a community through professional help seminars, sharing sessions and fun contests to provide a lighter side of work. Now in its third year, the TWI is focused on bringing the Mindful Business Charter to South East Asia following a successful introductory seminar in 2019, which was streamed throughout the ZICO Law network. ZICO Law looks to be a driving force in spreading the message of the Charter by leveraging on our 10-out-of-10 ASEAN footprint and involve as many businesses across as many sectors as possible.
