The Company:

My client, a national based law firm is looking for a Business Development Assistant to join their team based in their Exeter offices. This role will report into the Marketing and Business Development Director.

The Responsibilities:

• Assist the Business Development team with full administrative duties including; diary management, event bookings, report co-ordination and follow-up of all BD initiatives
• Assist with the pitch and tender process, whilst maintaining a central hub of information for all pitches and tenders.
• Research into our markets and sectors, clients and all prospects
• Compile databases for BD campaigns and ensure the firm's CRM system is updated
• Co-ordinate legal directories submissions

The Candidate:

• Degree qualified desirable and/or 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
• High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage; demonstrable transferable skills are imperative
