The Company:

A leading national law firm is looking to take on a Business Development Assistant to sit within their business development team. The role will be based in Birmingham and will require occasional travel to other national offices. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Business Development Executive.

The Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the production of proposal documentation for formal and informal opportunities
• You will produce general sales collateral such as capability statements
• Take charge of research on targets and target markets
• Maintain bank of information on tenders, PQQ information and credentials
• Co-ordinate and organise responses for the legal directories The Legal 500 and Chambers
• Support the BD and marketing teams where necessary on wider business development requirements, bespoke flyers and literature for events
• Assist the BD Executive with the tender process
• Assist with CRM data maintenance

The Candidate:
• Ability to proof read and format documents to align with the firm's branding
• Microsoft Office (advanced Word and Excel)
• Good written communication skills, including the ability to write in plain English
• Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
