Job Description

Key Responsibilities.

Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Act as the lead on brand projects and application of the visual identity.
  • Work within the relevant budgets, ensuing cost allocation and forecasting
  • To be a brand ambassador and to act as a guardian of Chambers’ brand and core values.


Work with the Head of Business Development and Marketing on strategic marketing activities and campaigns for key and target clients.

Communications – PR, directories/awards

  • Work with the Business Development and Marketing team and external agencies to manage content creation that adds value, supports the brand and core values, drives traffic to Chambers’ website and helps generate new business enquiries, ensuring that it reaches target audiences.
  • Manage legal directory and award submissions through to successful conclusions.


  • Plan, develop and execute all aspects of Chambers’ social media strategy across agreed platforms (including, but not limited to, LinkedIn and Twitter).
  • Ensure Chambers maximises SEO value from all online content.
  • Guide and mentor the Marketing Assistant with social media strategy and implementation.


  • Plan, develop and deliver all Chambers’ events both domestic and internationally.
  • Plan, develop and support the speaking opportunities for members and senior staff/clerks. 

Person Specification


Ideally have 5 years’ experience gained in a professional services environment

  • Be able to strategise, plan and deliver ongoing and individual projects and initiatives
  • Be a proven self-starter and be comfortable working alone as well as managing others and/or joining in team tasks.
  • Possess knowledge of marketing and communications techniques/tools, including social and digital marketing and be able to explain and train others in best use.

Required Qualities, Knowledge and Skill Set        

  • Be experienced in brand management and understand public relations
  • Be an outstanding communicator and ambassador of the business
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
