A global law firm requires a Trade Law Practice & Client Relationship Manager for a dual responsibility manager level role directly reporting into the Client Relationship Management team but with additional practice marketing responsibilities for the Trade Law Practice that is closely linked to the firm’s work with the UK Government. This role, in both of its aspects, is integral to the firm’s growth strategy and revenue generation objectives as well as the firm's reputation as a market leader and will involve supporting the team to drive new revenue growth and protect existing mature revenue streams, act as an ambassador for cross-selling, intelligence sharing, identification of new opportunities and winning new business. The Trade Law Practice & Client Relationship Manager will draw upon support from the BDM Business Teams and from Business Teams across all functions and work closely with the Head of Client Relationship Management and all parts of the BD & Marketing Business Team and Business Teams across all functions, The successful applicant will be both partner and client-facing and will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the client experience framework and account management for Government clients. This will involve supporting the development of the client strategy and objectives, driving execution, the development of the services, resourcing, processes, best practices, good financial hygiene and cost transparency and seeking and acting on client feedback and delivery of focused global relationship development and value-adding account management for our focus clients. The role holder will also be responsible for supporting all aspects of the marketing and business development of the Trade Law Practice, including supporting the development of the marketing practice strategy and objectives, driving execution, generating new business leads by working with the sector marketing team, drafting and project management of pitches and driving wider marketing activity including client targeting, events and seminars and other activities as required. The Trade Law Practice & Client Relationship Manager will have a strong academic record or equivalent and will be robust, self-motivated and possess the ability to build trust and respect among colleagues. A team player with a can-do attitude and outstanding communication and influencing skills, it is essential that you have extensive relevant experience in account management and business development gained whilst working in a professional services environment.
