Job Description

The Responsibilities:


  • Drafting, compiling and producing pitch documents, proposals and client presentations, as well as other marketing materials such as brochures and bulletins
  • Conducting client and background research to ensure that proposals are targeted, focused and client-specific
  • Preparing, coaching and rehearsing partners and client teams before they deliver pitch presentations to clients
  • Working closely with the partners to write practice group business plans and driving the implementation of these plans
  • Designing and implementing new business initiatives for the practices including thought leadership, events, client briefings/seminars and training programmes
  • Providing CRM support for one or two priority clients for the practice group – writing a client plan and managing the client team efforts to ensure that we are targeting the client across practice groups and geographies
  • Responsibility for the preparation of directory submissions for the Projects practice – including co-ordination at the European level and feeding into the global submissions
  • Identifying opportunities, designing, implementing and evaluating new business initiatives for the practice including thought leadership, events, client briefings/seminars and training programmes


The Candidate:

  • Degree educated with a 2:1 or above.
  • Experience working in the legal sector in a business development/marketing environment
  • Must be familiar with preparing pitches, presentations, legal directories and other marketing materials.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Interaction.
  • A professional marketing qualification (CIM) is desirable.
