Job Description

Working with a Law firm that has ambitious growth plans and is refreshingly forward-thinking and commercial in its approach to business development, you will enjoy the flexibility to work from any of the firm’s regional offices.

This role will focus on bidding for new work opportunities whether they are through a panel, specific project, or retainer arrangement.

The role is closely aligned with the client relationship management and wider BD function, enabling the Bid & New Business Manager to have a first-hand understanding of client needs, best practice and innovations in the business.

The ideal individual will be highly commercial in approach and have a track record of success in managing and delivering effective and convincing Bids within a legal or professional services environment. You will need strong writing and influencing skills, and the ability to develop a strong network of relationships. If you feel constrained in your current role or too far away from the client interface to make your bids as compelling as they could be, this could very well be an opportunity worth exploring further.
