Job Description

The Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for producing and implementing the Marketing plan across the region, being very hands on and strategic through out to ensure real value is added to the business.
• Running strategic marketing campaigns, as well as producing marketing literature, direct marketing, email marketing, advertising, coordinating PR and updating the website and social media.
• Organising events which can also be with other parties from providing the initial brief, finding the venue, securing the speakers, producing the mailing list and gaining input from staff, designing and sending out the invitation, co-ordinating replies and staff on the day. Post the event – ensuring that all enquiries and actions are captured, followed-up and recorded.
• Gaining internal buy-in of marketing and ensuring marketing campaigns are followed up and business development actions are done & reported back.
• Liaising with staff and sector heads to take their brief, understand their objectives and advising on the best way to achieve their goals or challenging their brief. This involves working with staff to improve their understanding of marketing and how opportunities can be developed.
• Assisting in maintaining the firm’s website – which will include updating key pages; suggesting improvements – therefore an understanding and experience of Google Analytics is advisable and encouraging staff to provide articles and news topics

The Candidate:
• Degree educated or Marketing diploma equivalent
• At least five years working in a marketing function
• Direct experience of the full marketing mix including digital and direct marketing.
• PowerPoint, Excel and Word essential plus Publisher, Photoshop and web applications would be useful.
