The Professional Services Marketing Group (PSMG) has been working to develop a useful Marketing Internet service and a web site that is safe, easy, and respectful of our customers. This web site is maintained by PSMG.

There are two primary types of information provided by PSMG members. The definitions and treatments of these types are as follows:
Professional Information - Data that members provide to PSMG through various methods of communications with PSMG is considered professional information that is stored and managed for PSMG internal use. Professional data includes, but is not limited to, name, address, company name, company address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, as well as questions answered on survey or registration forms. Data captured during a customer's visit to the PSMG web site, as well as during a visit to another PSMG partner site, is also considered professional information and may also be stored for PSMG internal use. Professional information is not shared with other organisations or other PSMG members for the purpose of facilitating business relationships.
Financial Information - Payment information gathered - including but not limited to, credit card numbers, financial institutions, and expiration dates - is considered Financial. This information is not distributed under any circumstance.
Opt Out
PSMG will accept, acknowledge and maintain any customer's request to opt-out of either future communication from PSMG or communication from a third party to whom PSMG provided the customer's information.
PSMG will accept opt-out requests as follows:
- By Sender: PSMG or 3rd party·
- By Medium: Mail, Phone, Fax, E-mail (or All)
Security
We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information you have given to us and may, on occasion, request proof of identity before we disclose any professional information to you.

Where a site is password protected it will use Cookies. Cookies are nothing more than a simple text file. They are not executable programs, and consequently it is impossible for a cookie to contain a virus, or any other application. Cookies are also very small, and you run no risk of filling your hard drive with too many cookies. PSMG Cookie that is placed on your computer as a result of you registering or logging on to PSMG web site contains only your unique reference number that is allocated by the registration process. There is no information in the Cookie that can identify you. The Cookie is only valid when you access PSMG site.

As such, PSMG supports the customer's right to "opt-out". Persons who request information about PSMG, and who supply us with their contact details will be added to our database to receive the requested information.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will amend this document accordingly so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
