SMEs interested in growth?
Mark Sherwin of Precedent is currently undertaking a major business research project as part of his Executive MBA that will study the internal factors that constrain or enable continued growth within SMEs operating within the professional service sector (with a specific interest in creative, communications, strategy and technology service firms), identifying an effective framework to plan and enable continued growth.
Likely themes to be examined include leadership behaviours, human capital development, quality management, resource deployment, knowledge and learning, innovation capabilities, staff alignment and customer alignment.
As part of this research he would like to arrange to interview key business leaders from organisations who generate turnover through fee billing of their experts time with between 25 and 250+ employees. Each interview will be in April/May 2010, will last approximately 1 hour and will be either face to face or via telephone depending upon logistics.
Mark Sherwin is a Director of Precedent www.precedent.co.uk (a digital communications consultancy with 65 staff and approx £4.5m turnover) and is currently completing his MBA at Cass Business School.
