The ‘Mass Market’ died in the 1960s – it should be left to rest in peace.
The much heralded ‘Austerity Britain’ which is expected to follow ‘The Great Recession’ need not be a time to fear, at least not for those firms who (really) understand that cash flow only comes from happy clients. When there is less money about, people will still spend, but only on products and services that serve a REAL need or solve a REAL problem.
He was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) in 1988, elected a member of CIM Council 1999-2001 and the CIM International Board of Trustees 2002-2004.
Paul is currently Visiting Professor at the University of Southampton and the College des Ingénieurs in Paris, President of the CIM Southern Region and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (FRSA).
